On Thursday, October 29 new Consul General to Boston Michael Lonergan and his wife Kirsty were welcomed to Boston at a function held at a packed Irish Consulate in downtown Boston. Lonergan, from Co. Limerick, began his appointment two months ago after taking over from predecessor Dave Barry.
